Responsibilities:
• Develops and maintains IT solutions in the form of applications and utilities for the company.
• Analyze requirements and create solutions based upon user requirements as well as evaluate their potential impact to business applications.
• Communicates solution alternatives based upon business needs.
• Codes, tests, debug, documents and maintains those programs while following the components of a systems life cycle.
• Develops moderately complex queries and reports to support multi-faceted internal and external reporting requirements.
• Changes code to maintain report definitions and/or provide enhancements to meet ongoing requirements.
• Support of existing reports and processes
• Develops and maintains reporting standards based on department, company, and industry principles and ideals.
• Proficient in MS Windows applications
• Should have excellent analytical skills and with a keen eye for details
Requirements:
• Required skill(s): MS SQL / MS ACCESS, ASP, VB6, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, VBScript
• Having the following skill(s) is a plus: AJAX, .NET, PHP
• Knowledgeable in MS SQL Server or MS Access or other relational database management system
• Proficient in developing both web based and stand alone applications
• Strong stress tolerance, sense of urgency, interpersonal communication, customer service orientation and leadership skills and do overtime work (as needed) on weekends and holidays.
• Has strong analytical, problem-solving and trouble shooting skills and programming skills
• Must be results oriented and resourceful person, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment under pressure and tight deadlines, with quality in products developed in mind
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in any IT related field
• Experience in PC hardware assembly and Server management is a plus
